Why Migration Is Needed

After upgrading, existing conversation sessions from versions earlier than v2.0.0 may not be accessible in the session history.

• Chat sessions created in earlier versions (before v2.0.0) will not appear in the session history.
• Session history created prior to v2.0.0 cannot be migrated to the new session history system.

Resolution Steps

Step 1: Open Session History Menu

• In CodeStudio, click the three dots icon (⋯) labeled ‘View and More Actions’.
• This opens the extended options menu.

Step 2: Select Show Chats

• From the menu, choose ‘Show Chats’.

• This will display the Sessions History, showing all conversations created in the current workspace.

Important Notes

• Conversations created in CodeStudio versions prior to v2.0.0 will not appear in the new session history.
• Only sessions created after upgrading to v2.0.0 are visible.
